How are the art therapy sessions set up?
Simple art materials are utilized, such as pencils, markers, oil and chalk pastels, paints, clay, and collage, to help bring an exploration of feelings and problems that may otherwise be too difficult to deal with. Both goal orientated, and spontaneous, self paced treatment goals are provided, depending on the client's needs. Sessions are typically 40 minutes long, once a week. Both long term, and short term therapy programs are available.
Services also include assessments, progress reports, final reports, and specific goal orientated programs to accommodate a client’s unique needs.
